FULBOURN ROAD, CAMBRIDGE

Blackstone’s BioMed Realty has acquired Cambridge International Technology Park. BioMed is a leading provider of real estate solutions to the life science and technology sectors and owns and operates 14 million sq ft of lab office space throughout the US and UK.

Abstract Securities and Peterhouse College acquired the 15.26 acres (6.177 ha) site, on Fulbourn Road Cambridge, for the speculative development of c500,000 sq.ft. of Grade A office buildings, capable of being occupied by a variety of users for multi or single occupation, particularly aimed at the technology, science and knowledge based sectors. A highly sustainable and environmentally focused approach will be adopted, providing flexible space, suitable for the diverse range of occupiers in the Cambridge market.

The site, comprising open farmland and zoned for business use, is adjacent to Peterhouse Technology Park, also owned by Peterhouse College, which is the location of the global headquarters of technology giant, Arm Holdings. The land lies south east of the City Centre, around 2.5 miles from the railway station with easy access to the M11 and A14.
